About Us
Apex was founded in 2003 by Jim Smith to serve the needs of the transportation infrastructure industry. Starting with a small metal fabrication shop, Jim and his team provided parts, components and assembly services to OEM’s whose products shipped worldwide.
As the business grew and the Apex shop expanded, metal fabrication for various types of heavy-duty projects became an important part of the company portfolio.
